I'm in the process of bidding on a Hagen powerhead for my tank. Its gonna go in my 30gallon. And the powerhead pumps 900 GPH :fun: . Would that be considered over pumping?

Its hard to say. Basically you can't have too much flow unless it is disturbing the substrate or the live stock. Basically you have to put it in and decide for yourself if it is blowing too much for your peticular setup. If you get it cheap enough and it doesn't work out you could always sell it back off.

Yeah i guess it is cheap. I bid 3bucks on it but being my stupid self I thought someone bid more so I bid again up to 5 bucks. Could've saved myself 2 bucks :-(
