I've focused so much time on my nano tank that I haven't taken any pix of my FW in a long time. My 46G AGA bowfront is now up and running over a year. I thought I'd post some inhabitant pix. I have 5 original members that survived cycling and ich. The latest addition, the Singapore Flower shrimp, is several weeks old now and appears to like to hang out on the intake of the AC filter....probably gets good filter feeding near the intake grate. It's a Congo Tetra, lovely fish.

The tank looks great, I especially like the colours of the clown loach.

White skirt tetra is first.
Singapore flower shrimp.
Two angels.
Boesmani rainbowfish
Two albino corys noshing on a spirulina pellet.
Clown loach
Congo tetra.

The tank is somewhat on autopilot. I do a large water change once a week with a Python, 25-30%. I abandoned activated carbon. I got tired of rinsing out my sponge frequently, so, I use a layer of filter fiber, sponge, layer of filter fiber and then ceramic beads. I alternate tossing out the filter fiber. I gravel vac once a month. Hornwort grows religiously and needs constant pruning but, despite what a lot of people post here, I think it looks great underwater...bushy, green and provides shelter for the shrimp. SH

I'll try one..but....it's no where near as nice as my marine...it was designed with the kids in mind, so, it's single strip light with the ornaments, etc It's gorgeous at night because I DIY'd an 8 light LED moonlight over it on a timer. SH

I lucked out with some hardy fish. Although I wasn't a huge angelfish fan, I've grown quite fond of them and would recommend them for anyone with a good tank size. The rainbows have grown nicely and the congos are gorgeous fish. I have most of my FW fish in pairs, except for three glasscats and a small school of 6 turquoise danios. SH
