Over Horny Sailfin Mollie

i just bought a new female sailfin mollie and i think she is fairly pregnant. but my male keeps ahem "courting" her over and over and over and over and over again will this be effecting her pregnancy?

It can be very stressful for them, this is why you are usually recommended to keep 2-3 females per male. It also helps if there are plenty of hiding spaces, like tall bushy plants.

yeah i ahve 2 females and the one male but at the moment because i think because this one is new i think hes giving her a "warm" welcome. i hope he doesnt forget about the other female and just targets her.

keep an eye on them, sometimes they seem to get attatched to one female, esp if shes at the end of the pregnancy.

yeah thanks i beleve she is over half way thru the pregnancy?

i will keep a close eye on them i looked this morning and they have accepted her and they swimm around in a little trio
