Over Head Lighting..

Hello im new here so.. HELLOOOOO! ..

Was just wondering if these over head lights are any good? only want it for my 3ft by 1ft tropical tank im setting up and not on the biggest of budgets. Heres the link..

Thought i would post up a link to see what people thought dont want to waste my money on sh*te if its pants!.. feel free to direct me to the right place if there isnt up to scratch!

I have no idea about the lights but I would be careful about jumpers...

That would be the only problem.. but the lid i have on the tank is NASTY!.. And thought if would look good with the bogwood/plants sticking out the top.. what do you think?

Hey, I have always thought that these lights look nice, but the clearance from the top of the tank to the lights may not be enough to have wood coming out of the tank?

Also, think I would prefer to get a set from a uk based supplier? Just to ensure it complied to uk health and safety specs?

But that's just me, the unit you have suggested could be awesome for all I know...

Why not try a website called All Pond Solutions, they do quite cheap stuff?

just looked and all pond solutions is more expensive then the light in the link. The light looks good to me

Ditch the wood coming out the top then! Lol.. The light unit is from the UK?.. or do you mean its not made in the UK?

Might just take the chance and buy it, you can send it back within 30days if its not up to scratch.. but its not likely to be top notch for the money but may do the trick..
