We have a 20gal, 10gal, and 2 betta bowls. Here are some pics:

Here's the 20g H. This is our main tank. Pardon the teal colored gravel...my 4 year old son picked it out. Has a mix of live and fake plants. Fish consist of 1 black molly, 3 red wag platies (1m, 2f), 4 albino corys, 8 bloodfin tetras, and 1 clown plec.

This is the 10g. It is used primarily for the molly fry, but has the female molly, 1 older molly fry, 4 peppered corys and 1 oto.

This is one of the betta bowls with our male betta:

We are hoping that in the next few months we can get a 55 or 75 gal tank and that will be for us "grownups" to decorate, thus will be much more natural looking and hopefully with lots of live plants and stuff.

:D I agree that it would be nice to have a grown-ups only tank :D

Tanks look nice though otherwise... I pretty sure you don't need the heater in your beta bowl... unless you keep your house at 50 degrees or something :p

I do need the heaters in the betta bowl. Our house is generally in the 60's at night, so the water gets pretty cold.

Doesnt matter what temp the house is, you should always have a heater for Betta. THey come from Malasia/Thailand/Cambodia etc which is a hot/humid region hence require a heater in the tank to mimic that.
