Some pictures of our fish. Angel fish and BGK are my babies, while Oscar is my hasbands baby lol
Angel fish has a lot of personality. and he is very dominant in the tank. He actually killed more fish then Oscar. so i have to watch him closely with remaining fish in the tank, and watch what other fish i add. Oscar and angel are sapearated. and they both thrive in their own tanks. other fish are 2 guppies, and pink skirt ( i think)

He even eats out of my hand.

Lovely oscar, the colour and markings are great :good:
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys.

GobyMaster- When we bought BGK he was 3 inches now 6 month later he is over 9 inches. and very fat. lol But i love him so much. its fun to watch him when he come out. I only wish he came out more often.

Other then that i am pretty proud of him. My friend has one and hers is about 2 years old and only 6 inches. so when she comes she always tries to get me to give him to her.

I can't believe he grew so much. I guess he is very happy with his home and food.

Try putting some more plants such as some Cabomba caroliniana (Cobomba) or some Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae (Dwarf Sword Plant) to make a very dense planted section of the tank. I've read that Black Ghosts are way more active in a tank that is heavily planted.
Cheers,
GobyMaster

I wish i had a massive tank to keep a BGK in...soon though soon i say :D

how big are the tanks?

i know what size tanks those fish need.

Oscar 75g by himself.
BGK 55g by himslef. Separated him last night
andgel 33g with 2 guppies and pink.

Thanks everyone.

BGk..55gallon...i think you should have another look at that one BGK can and will max out at about 20" so a 55gall is somewhat small ;)
