Our First Platy Fry... Awwww

When I was feeding the female platies in the 5gal tank I noticed this lil one on top of one of the leaves in the tank.
I scooped it out so I could do a water change and looked for more, but so far, this lil fella is the only one.

It's so cute! I just hope it's gonna be ok.

Hi that doesnt look much like a platy fry to me more like a guppy or endler are the platys in the tank on their own ?

Lol yes they're in the tank on their own.
At the petstore, they were only in the tank w/ other platies, but who knows what they were kept in before they got to the petshop.

There are more babies now! YAY!
I counted 5, but there could be more.
I just hope some of them survive. They're so cute!
I tryed getting pics of them in the tank, but the camera doesn't want to pick them up.

It's so difficult getting decent pics of fry in the tank. I tried with my cory's and until they were about two weeks old they were just invisible to the camera, it just wouldn't focus on them.

Lovely fish, it's really exciting when you go from being just a fish keeper to a fish breeder!
