Our First Fry, Only Took 2 Days

Hi there, we bought some platies on sat and on monday morning we had 2 fry and during the day another 2, we had another but that was dead Ive got the 4 in a trap as I wasnt expecting it but I dont have another tank for them to go in. What do people suggest I read that 2-3 weeks in a trap and 2-3 months before they can go in the tank. Can I get away with the trap or should i just put them back in with the others, all there is at the min is 5 platies and a ramshorn snail.

A couple of weeks in the trap should get them to an adequate survivable size. I onl had my fry in a fry tanks for 3 weeks before I let them join the community. Some of the smaller ones got eaten, but I have 10 survivors.

Well to follow up on this I have 9 platies at a decent size and in with the others now, just waiting till there bigger so they can go to a good home.
But now I have loads of endler babies Ive got 10 in my trap and 3 in the tank that vanish every time I go in there with a net.
So now Il have endlers to re-home as well
