Ottos & Caes

I would like to buy some ottos and would like to make sure I dont get sold CAEs by not-so-expert lfs staff. Can anyone tell me how to distinguish between the 2?

Otto are darker in color and will be smaller than a CAE unless you LFS has a ton of really young CAE's. They usually have a mix of young and older CAE's so it's pretty easy to tell. Otto's don't get big at all maybe at best an 1.5" in size. CAE's can get huge up to 6"!

Just look at a couple of pictures and you should easily be able to tell the difference when you get to the store. *nods*

CAE: striped, usually longer than the biggest oto at most stores I have been to
Otos: solid colors, usually at about an inch
