otos

Depends on which Cichlids you have but personally I wouldn`t recommend it. I saw my Nimbochromis Fuscotaeniatus swimming round with a Hap. Ahli half his size sticking out his mouth!! luckily the Ahli managed to escape when he adjusted his grip and has made a full recovery in another tank. They will eat smaller fish no problem.

Mark.

Yes they will. If they cant fit them in their mouth they will pick at them. If you want a algie eater in a cichlid tank sucking loaches are ok because they a quite aggressive and quick. I had 3 in my 150 Gallon tank for 6 years with 45 2"-8" cichlids. ;)

The trouble with some plecs is the water conditions are not ideal for them but the bristlenose should be fine but you may need to feed them extra. If so feed an hour after the lights have gone out.

BN's should be fine with even the most aggressive Mbuna. Ottos are a definate no-no, too small and delicate, if they don't get eaten, the stress will kill them. :/
