i know there has been 3 other post bout what fish would be good with bettas,

but i was wondering if a school of 6 neons would be ok with a male betta in a 10 gallon or any schooling fish or would that be to many fish for a 10 gallon,

Neons would probably be a no, just because they're nippy and might get at your bettas fins!

However, other fish to keep in mind would be pygmy corydoras and maybe chilli rasbora, but a betta might see them as a snack and they are quite shy! Or, endlers are good, although not shoaling fish. :)

Ok my brother and his girlfriend bought two male Bettas and I told him he could keep it in his 10g with other fish but idk what other fish to put them in with

Two male bettas!? In the same tank!?
He has to separate them soon, or they'll kill each other!

+1
if they haven't got another tank, then tell them to go get a divider so those males aren't together.
If they haven't already, they will fight & one or both will be killed

They have them separated in two one gallon tanks I think idk but I know they did separate them

Oh, phew! I'd say that they should upsize their tanks to 3gal each and cycle the filters rather than buying more tank mates, though!

That's good to know.
If they want to put one into their 10 gallon, some chilli rasboras or some endlers would go well

They probably won't up the tank size cus their stubborn and his girlfriend doesn't listen to a word i say

Thanks for the info

She could just go into P@H, get one of their good deals on 1 tank which is around 30l then just divide it into for them. Try to persuade her, even if she doesn't want to listen. :)

Ya I told her a five gallon minimum to keep them in
Or to even get rid of her guppies she doesn't care for at all and put him in their 3gallon

Oh dear :(
Best to just keep trying with her until she sees reason. Or, alternatively, point her in the direction of this site! She'll be able to get all the knowledge she needs and might even see sense once everyone is giving her sound advice. :)
