I Read On Wikipedia That If Switching From Tap Water To Store Bought Water That Has Been Put Through Reverse Osmosis
It Must Be Added Slowly To Avoid Sending Fish Into Osmotic Shock.

"Replacement water should be of the same source as the aquarium, whether it be reverse osmosis (RO), de-ionized (DI), distilled or municipal supply, in order to avoid drastic changes in water chemistry. In cases where one is replacing a tap water-mix with a reverse osmosis-based mix, the replacement water should be added slowly over the course of several hours to avoid sending the aquarium inhabitants into osmotic shock." Wikipedia (2007)

Does Anyone Have Any Experience With This. I Seem To Have A Lot Of Calcium Deposits In My Tap Water, And Would Like To Start By Replacing 30% ( 10G Tank ) Of My Water With Store Bought Water, And Then Continue With Only The Store Bought Water With Every Water Change From There On Out. My Question Is What Length Of Time Should I Take To Introduce 3 Gallons Of Water That Was Processed Via Reverse Osmosis Into My 10G Tank
