Hi,
I have a 48"x 18" x 15" Tank, Fluval 205, I have kept a community tanks but im looking to get something diffrent. I have been thinking about 1 ocsar but i have a few questions.

Are these fish easy to keep ???
Is the Fluval 205 Suitable???
What fish can i add to the tank without problems ?? the oscar ill be haveing is about 8"
also in need of a test kit what one shall i buy that will do everything i need it too ??

Argh my mum wants an oscar for my new tank, really your tank isn't big enough, adult males can get 16", though 12-14" is more common.

yea id say it wasnt quite wide enough for it to stay in there for life.


how about a pair of severum or blue acaras?


they stay about 8"-9" and i think you could get away with 2.
