Can anyone help?
I have two lovley Oscars; one male and one female. I have had them for about 6 months now and both have been very happy.
I have had the female laying eggs and the male doing 'his bit', but about a month ago I had high water levels and lost 3 fish to this.
Returned the water level back to normal and it all looks good again, but the Oscars are fighting like cat and dog; it is getting so bad the male has lost his bottom lip and the female has got a mark on her nose.
I know they are a breeding couple, and do not know what to do.
I purchased three new fish and replacement plants to see if this would help, unfortunately they are still fighting but it is the male causing most of the arguments (he swims across the tank at high speed and rams into her side with great force, almost lifting her out of the water), I believe the female has 'had enough'.
Please can someone help?
If not, can anyone LOCAL (KENT) home them???
