I have three young Oscars. One of them I know for sure is going to be re-homed because it's growing much slower than the others. When I got the trio they were all almost black and orange, now the two faster growing fish are turning to a paler green color rather than being black. The small Oscar is still pitch black with darker orange marking. So I'm wondering if they are perfectly healthy. I have a theory in my mind is that the two bigger O's are perfectly fine and the darker smaller ones coloration is caused by stress, or the bigger O's coloration is caused by very fast growth causing a lighter color that will fill out after its done growing. What are your opinions.
P.s. don't mind the mess, they are going through that tank with a fine tooth comb picking every little bloodworm they can find since they don't get em often
P.p.s. can anyone I.D. that fish In the last pic
