I have recently bought a new 29 gallon tank and doesn't have any fish in it yet,
And i just cant decide, red bellied Pacu or a Tiger Oscar?
Any opinions?
(Oscar, not Oscaror, my mistake)

Neither, not enough space. could work as a grow out for Osc....wait, that won't work cause of Oscars abilty of growing at an impressive rate. Pacu will defianatly grow too big, say 3ft is it's max. I say either go community, medium cichlid pair, or single fish (ex. Convict male)

:good:

As stated 29g is nowhere near enough space for either of those fish. I turned down a Pacu for my 150g as it will get too big and a single Oscar on its own with no other fish needs 55g as a minimum and preferably closer to 75g. (If you meant redbellied piranha then 29g is still way too small.)

Oh and just so you know, neither an Oscar or a Pacu is really a predatory fish.

yea, i wasent sure either would fit into the tank, just making sure
