Oscar Tankmates

So I bought a 125 for my 8" oscar.
I'm wondering what else can go in the tank with him?
How about a trio of bala sharks(I already have one that would really like some friends)

What about any sort of loach like clown loaches(mine will eventually need a larger home.)

Also Plecos?

Anything else that might be safe?

Bottom dwellers that can't be eaten, or be mistaken for something he thinks he can eat, will work. Clown loaches work, but it's important to get them large since the Oscar will outgrow them. I don't know the growth rate of Balas but they'll work as long as they too are big enough. There are many large catfish that would work also. Large open water fish like shoals of Silver Dollars and Tinfoils will be ignored by the Oscar. Plecos are no problem.
