Oscar Question.

Some say to keep one in at least a 60g tank, others say 5-6ft tank.

What is it? Volume or Length?

yes that would be fine for an oscar and a few tankmates thats what i have

at the minute its running a Fluval 405 but i imagine i'd need to upgrade to an FX5

you'd be better off with 2 405's in my opinion mate

then you can maintain at different times i.e different 1 every 2 months
and if 1 breaks down you still have 1 running

yes deffo.. 405's are good but wouldnt even nearly cope with that size.. keep an eye out for anyone selling a used one-fx5), they are expensive but excellent filters!

i also have 5 silver dollars a convict and a sun catfish in my tank and my stats are 0.0.25 all the time my waters crystal clear
