hi was just wondering if anyone knew if oscars can become constipated because mine seems to be having trouble in that area and if they can what would be the best thing to help him out thanx swampy

Yes, common problem. Feed him a diet of peas for a few days and this will help. Check out www.oscarfish.com for a good oscar site

You may want to read the pinned topic about oscars, that may better answer your question. Yes is the quick answer they can get constipated.

Yes they can and two suggestions ofr this problem are:

Feed them peas and other greens if they'll take them which should push it through their system

Also you could try (a very diluted) saltwater bath for 10-15 minutes which should also loosen their bowel
