I added 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons, turned the heat up to 84* (am adjusting it to 82), and have it covered by a blanket to reduce stress

should I do 20% water changes each week?

Is there any medication that I can get from the store that will work?

This is sad... hes just now developed the lateral line erosion, and has a few pits around this head, doesn't seem to want the floating pellets so much, and is acting differently.
help

it happened because i moved him to a different larger tank, but he didn't get along with the fish and was fighting with a pacu a little bigger than him in a 100 gallon, so i moved him back to the 55 and he was acting normal
