Hello, I've an Oscar. It's got some odd disease which we originally thought was Hole in the Head, but, now I'm not to sure.
According to the owner (my father), it started with typical HITH symptoms of the white pock marks. He attempted to get some meds for 'im, (Paragon). We couldn't find any, and the only thing that was suggested to us was some form of medicated food. (Side note: the oscar isn't eating anything/has lost appetite... what good is medicated food supposed to do?)
Now, I've come by today to get a look at it. It's developed some sort of red puffy area over the head, and the HITH marks are present along its jaw. As well, an indention is said to have formed with the red area.
I've never seen the red marks before, and I'm wondering, is this still HITH?
I took a few images, and would appreciate remarks.
I've a bad feeling the oscar's going to die, so I don't really expect much in the 'life saving tips' category, but I would like to know what the disease is.
