Oscar Completly Flipped Out

Okay im sitting at my computer and my fish tank is behind me, the lights are off and all is peaceful. And all of a sudden my oscar just goes crazy running into everythign in the tank hitting the roof about 5 times, this goes on for a good 10-15 seconds and now he stopped. Ive never seen him ever act like this. The most crazy thing. What could possibly explain this spasm.

Something startled him, what are you looking at on the computer?

I've seen my oscar do this a couple of times, seen angels do it plenty. For some reason they spazz out of the blue, maybe there is something they can sense that we can't. Oscars do hit things a lot harder than angels ever could, I have some hefty pieces of slate on the lid of the oscar tank.

You have lost fish to this before, and all you add is melafix, something is wrong you could have a parasite.

Well the oscar is fine now, however a smaller sized clown loach that has been in there for quite some time is now missing. I believe he could have been chasing him and ate him
