I just bought some tetras and they are called orange "something' tetras. I was wondering if any one has heard of them and if you could give me the real name??
They have red fins & some red on thier body that tends to look orangish in color. They are very small and only grow to be about 2 inches in length.

Thanks

Yes, here are some pictures. I still can't seem to locate any name starting with "orange ____ Tetras"

well theyre pretty whatever they are.

my lfs likes to rename fish to cutesy "pet store" names so that you have no clue wtf you're actually buying.

Pretty cool fish. I would love to have some if I had another tank, beacuse orange is my favorite color and its so awesome. :D

They're fins are all red & the body looks redish orange. they are not flame tetras.
At the LFS on the tank it did say the word rio but I had forgotten. all I can remember now is that it said orange something rio something tetra lmao
Next time I visit , i will take a note book with to write down the name.

I am sure that it is Orange Von Rio. I have seen this fish (orange flame tetra) labeled as Orange Von Rio at PetsMart.
