hi all, i just caught my goby and placed him into a bucket, (my QT is in the middle of cycling right now.) Right now he has a few white spots on his fins and i can see his slime coat peeling off. I noticed this when he swam up to the surface of my tank and what looked like to me he was trieing to find an opening to jump out.

my 2 clowns, firefish goby, and sailfin tang looks fine and is eating well right now. tank is 65g. well filtered and water movement.

Ph-8.3
Ammonia-0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10-20

thx for help!

Going to need to set up an emergency hospital tank - salt water, heater, powerhead - any container will do as long as it has a lid

then go buy a good white spote treatement and start asap

Why is your hospital tank cycling, it doesn't need anything in it, just as above?

i dont know how it happened, none of my other fish look sick. the goby was hiding under alot of rocks and suddenly that day came where he just got sick somehow.
