Orange Heads (pics Now Available)

I have recently begun to notice that my angelfish and swordtail have heads that are orange along the top. On the Angelfish, this orangeness also goes onto the fin. Does anybody know what this is?

Does no-one know what is happening to my fish? They also seem to be not moving much.

Its the orange bit that confuses me but can you give some details like water stats or any other things you have noticed?

I'll take some readings in a while, and I'll try and get you a picture as well.

I have taken some readings, which show a pH of 7 and Ammonia of 0. I have also taken photo's, although the quality is rubbish, but you can see the orangeness.

that just looks like a koi angel.
has the colour only just come onto the fish?

Yeah, the colour has just appeared in the last couple of days. It is a Koi angelfish, as thats what I bought it as, but there has never been any other orange on them.

how long have you had the angels for and how old are they?

 

[jr1104]

I've had them about a year, and I got them when they were about the size of a 50p. They have spawned three times, although the fry never hatched, as the eggs got eaten.
