Hello everyone. I have a 20g high, brackish. Had the tank for quite awhile now. First I added a Figure 8 Puffer and pair of Chromides. Figure 8 puffer died before i could move it into it's own tank.
The chromides I have, one is less colorful than the other. It seemed to have been a little pale in at my LFS. I brought it home and fed it. Weeks passed and it seemed to getting some color back but losing it every now and then. I caught the two chasing each other. I thought it was courtship at first but now it seems to be bullying from new information I recieved from sabby.
Anyways, the one that gets chased around and the one that's less colorful is hanging out beside the heater now. He/She seems to be there all of the time not other than coming out to feed. The colorful chromide is fine and active. Could the lesscolorful one be stressed because of the bullying?
Water Parameters are fine last time I checked. Tempature is at 80 degrees. Heater is turned off, by the way. I'll be doing a water test again this afternoon and keep you guys posted.
I don't have any other tanks to quarantine(bad spelling). I have a turned over flower pot, a cave, small driftwood peice, and java moss. No other fish in there with the chromides other than snails. The colorful chromide has been agressive lately. He even attacks the snails that come out. Before he would just be curious, stare for a couple seconds, get bored and leave them alone.
Any advice?
