I am thinking of buying a pair of double red agazzi apistogramma from aqua bids.com and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I am just a little apprehensive to buy fish from an online source. So please drop a comment below if you have delt with the website or if you have herd anything about it (reviews, second hand experience from friends that have delt with aqua bids). I hope it is a good source because I would realy love a nice pair of agazzis :hyper: . Thanks for cheking out my post :thanks:
P.S i would be buying from a seller called Atlantistropicalfish

Aqua Bid is like a fish version of eBay. That being said, like eBay, it all depends on the seller.

agreed it depends on the seller.
I have bought some cherry shrimp and some plants in 2 separate transactions and was more than pleased with both sellers. Not saying all sellers are terrific but i would use Aquabid again.
cheers

I ordered my last pair of Apistogramma Agassizi from a seller on Aquabid, and couldn't have been more pleased. The guy was top notch service wise and the fish arrived well packaged, very healthy, and beautiful. They guy packed them in an insuilated container, with a heat pack, and had a piece of mature filter sponge in the bag with the fish for the trip.

It depends on the seller anytime you order online. Before this, I ordered from someone else online, and ended up with a pair of sick (ich) fish that died less than a week after arrival.

If you're buying from there, make sure you pay by PayPal do you have some protection if things go wrong. Not saying they will, but it's better to have that peace of mind.

Sorry, dont remember the names of the seller-was nearly 2 years ago. There should be a "feedback" section next to the seller's name if im not mistaken. You can click on it and read reviews of stock/transactions for each seller. Might be helpful for you.
cheers

I use aquabid the same way I use ebay. Research the seller. A good reputation goes a long way! I've used aquabid several times, with good results. Sorry, I also can not remember what sellers I have delt with. I haven't ordered anything in over a year. One seller comes to mind though: Lots O' Fish... Pete is his name. his fish are alittle pricey, but well worth it.
