I was looking at this dechlorinator yesterday that is 3 in 1. The three things it does is Buffers the ph 7.0. Neutralizes Ammon and does the dechlorinator action, is this worth getting?

honestly, i've never tried them but i don't really see why it would hurt. i don't know anything about them though and you may want to look into it further to make sure it's safe for bettas.

What is it called and who is it made by?
Not to contradict Girl4god but you need to be wary using products like this;
1) Some are useless and a complete waste of money.
2) Some ammonia detoxifiers have been linked with eventual ammonia spikes.
3) If you have a cycled filter then this could also be interfered with.
4) PH buffers/softeners and neutralizers more often than not create more problems than they prevent or rectify.
IMO

that doesn't contradict me at all. i said i don't know anything about it and to wait for other advice and make sure it's safe the the betta.

It is made by Wardley. Their website is Wardley-Fish.com. Their site looks pretty credible

and it's called 3-1 7.0 Ph.
Buffers pH to 7.0
Neutralizes Ammonia
Eliminates Cholorine and Chloramines

Do you have any issues with your PH at the moment?

i live in the city so the tap water isnt exactly the best. I figured getting this might be easier than using pH up and pH down which i've read you're not supposed to do. The ph is usually around the low 6's

I'd simply avoid messing with your PH then, Bettas like soft water (i think) and there is more likely to be problems changing your PH than not changing your PH.

Simplest example; If your PH is around 5.5 atm then adding this (wardleys) could actually result in a spike anyway, beneath ph5.5 ammonia ceases to be toxic (ammonium), raising the PH quickly (with the aforementioned product) would allow ammonia in its toxic state to develop while your A.O.B and N.O.B (cycling bacteria) would have died off. Similar to the causes of OTS (Old Tank Syndrome).

If anything i'd go for SeaChem Prime, IMO as well as many other aquarists and fish shops this is the best Dechlor going.
It successfully detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and also removes chlorine and chloramine.
While you only get a small bottle for your money, the amount needed compared to many Dechlors is tiny and it is actually one of the cheapest Dechlorinators going, anyhoo.....

That answer was a bit over the top, basically don't bother with the Wardleys.

-germ- is right about the ph spikes, I tried to adjust my ph and finally gave up since the city water here is already buffered. When I would use things to bring the ph to what the lfs would tell me it needed to be in 2 days it was off again. I gave up and do several smaller water changes a week on my tanks. I get the cheapest declorinator I can find and use plants to soak up any ammonia in the water.
