keep noticing that it keeps getting wounds across its body and also its fins have chunks out and red patches.... its a real shame but i dont know what fish is doing this

occupants are:

redtailed shark
pearl gourami
platy
neons
pristella
harlequins
lemons
bristlenose

Looking at your stock and at a guess I'd say the red-tail shark. How big is it? They're sold as community fish but aren't really as they get territorial and aggressive when older. You need to watch your fish a lot and see if you can see it happening. Can't think any of your other fish would do it but then I may be wrong.

the shark is approx 4 inchs but never seems to bother with the gourami, never see who is doing it until i notice some more marks on its body, the pearl is ok though

Have you treated the fish?
What you could be seeing are lesions due to a fungal or bacterial infection, something like finrot. I would treat the fish before trying to blame someone in the tank, especially if you have not observed any aggressive behaviour towards your opaline.
