Only Been A Week

It has only been a week since I started using the ferts and 2 weeks since I added CO2.

I have not added any new plants.

The tank went from:

A couple of the plants are a little slow growing though. Does anybody know what the big plant in the middle back is? That thing grows like crazy and it has roots all over it. So I think I can cut it and plant the roots and make it into more plants.

wow great growth pics.... i love these before and after pics. as for the plant its hard to see a quick guess is water sprite but i could be 100% wrong.

Hard to see exactly what that plant is. Can you get a closer picture of the leaf shape, looks a bit like indian fern but hard to tell from the picture.

did some resaerch. It is water sprite. I wish my other plants would grow that effectively. I still need to get the potassium phosphate. All I have right now is the CO2, Potassium Nitrate, and the flourish excel for traces.


Could potassium phosphate be the real catalist to great growth? I cannot find it anywhere here and have heard that it is not ABSOLUTELY essential.

Anybody else not use it and have good plant growth?

you can get phosphate in the form of fleet from walmart. if the plants are using it all you should add it to make sure its there.

the middle plant looks like water wisteria, and yes it grows very fast! easy to grow but lots of trimming, it grows very untidily though.
