We have a quite well planted 190 litre tank, with a dozen rummy nose gracing the front of the tank. I have been considering a second shoal, my initial thoughts is a dozen penguin tetras, either that or maybe another half dozen rummy noses.

Will the two shoals generally stay seperate and the fish be cleaver enough to know which team they play for, or are they likely to be quite intermingled?

Thanks

it may depend on what other fish you have in their as they shoal alot more if they feel threatened but i'd say that the penguin tetra prbably shoal on their own yer
Currently only sailfin mollies, platties and some small corries. They must feel very un-threatened, pretty slack in shoaling at the mo (just thought they were getting lazy....).

Think the penguin will probably more mid to top, while the rummy's are mid to bottom (lower than expected).
