im feel so horrible... 
i took the CAE's out of the cichlid tank because im sure one of them killed my cobalt zebra + a few other fish before and id had enough of it, so i put them in seperate containers and left them because i thought they already had a home to go to, turns out this person decided they didnt want them, so i thought ok ill have to house them for 1 more day and then take them to the lfs, so i went to spanishfish's house, (if you remember that thread), and she still had her tank, we decided to boil it and disinfect it because of fish dyeing in there etc, well i put a small heater in there and a divider yesterday afternoon they were still alive and kicking, well went out last night and came home and i caught a whiff as i walked in the room went over to the little tank and they were both dead 
, i still consider this pretty strange that they both died at the same time, it smelt as well, and they were all fat and swollen and hard as rocks, they also have red looking base of fins and skin, and one looked like his head had been bleeding inside, im wondering if like the heater has given them a shock or somthing...i just dont know and i feel awful
