Omg.. Poor Fish...

I went in the local petco last weekend and was so mad that i just walked out....

i was searching for some females and some other fish for my tropical tanks and when i looked through the isles of the store they hardly had any tanks full of fish... which made me go hmmmmm..... so then i went to look for the bettas....

and i found three males dead and one female... i almost cried.. it broke my heart and made me so mad that i told my sister to drop the stuff she had and come on... it made me so mad... if only they would take care of the fish they had.. sigh....

theres a lfs near campus up on this mountain that takes excellent care of their fish and always has very beautiful bettas.. i wish every store could take care of the fish they had like they care of their own pets...

I posted last week about the Petsmart near me, I found 5 dead bettas and 1 dead one the week before! I complained to the manager and I called and e-mailed the corporate office. I got a call from the district manager assuring me it would be taken care of. I'll be stopping in again next week just to make sure though. But each store is different. The Petco near me is great, but in Binghamton, where I go to school, the Petco is horrible and the Petsmart is great. It all depends on the people working there.

The Petco around here is excelent for fish, not so much for other stuff... They don't carry Betta, though.

That's horrible. Things like this sicken me.
