Do you want to raise the fry? If not, you can just leave it there and let the other fish eat the eggs.

You can move the eggs to a different aquarium and raise them there.

It's a tiny bottle of water I've been propagating pothos ivy it has roots I have an eye dropper I could get the green stuff out

Tip the water out of the 5 gallon tank and put about 4-5 inches of water in it. Use water from the adult furcatus tank where the egg is. Have an airstone bubbling away gently and wait for the baby to hatch out of the egg. The baby will be free swimming and hang out just under the surface after it hatches.

Feed the baby on floating powder fry food for egg layers, or boiled egg yolk. See following link for info on boiled egg yolk. It is about half way down under "Emergency Fry Food".

Don't use the stuff in the vase.

And if there is one egg in the tank, there are probably more. Have a look through the plants and pick the eggs out and put them in the hatching/ rearing tank. Break a small bit of leaf off the plant that has the egg attached to it.

That's exciting

I found another egg.
I'm pretty confused by all the information in the provided link.

So far I have:

Drained 90% of the water out of a 5g tank that has been cycling for 3 weeks.

Added 1 gallon of the water from the "home" tank. Trimmed an inch of plant with egg and put that in. Rhos rank also has frog bit, should I leave that?

Am I to use a sponge filter with air pump or an air stone?

I have high nitrate in the tank where the fish are thriving and breeding. It may be my chart; I had one printed from the internet and laminated. I also had high nitrate in the cycling tank. So 10% water left in 5g cycling tank with frogbit. Added 2 gallons of water from home tank.

I also found another egg.

I have been finding lots of cloudy white dots that look fuzzy. Are those bad eggs?
I have been doing 25-50 % water changes every 3 days because I know they would be breeding because of their behavior. The tank is densely planted so I have been concentrating on the bottom. I am now guessing extra food is causing the fuzz on the eggs. I've just been picking them out thinking it's old food.
Are these spoiled eggs? I don't give the fish food that big, anyway. How can I keep the eggs from getting fuzzy?
Here is one of the 2 eggs I found today

The fuzzy ones are bad eggs yes

Are they, bad because of my water?
I do lots of changes because I want them to breed but I stick to the bottom.
Sometimes if there is not enough flow over the eggs they develop fungus. It probably dosent have anything to do with your water, eggs are just sensitive. Remove them as soon as you see them so it dosen't spread to the others

Sponge filter with air pump
Or
Air stone with air pump?

Squeak, I'm so nervous
