Old Threads

[The-Wolf]

is it just me or has anyone else noticed a lot of old threads being
resurrected for no apparent reason than to bump the resurrecters (is that a word) post count?

I'm ok with old threads being resurrected to ask for updates etc but just commenting on old post to say. I'd add XXXX
or I like that XXXXX seems totally pointless and is bordering on spammage.

Totally agree, very annoying, I think 'similar topics' either needs scrapping or changed somehow so that there is an age limit of say 4-6 weeks since the last post.
