So I'm not really new but it's been around 12 yrs since I've had a tank. My sister took my 55 gallon and used it for a few yrs and then sat it in the shed. So I'm getting it back and going to get it running agian. Will I need to reseal the edges on this tank? What kind of things do I need to do look for when getting this one setback up and running.

So I was able to run over today and check it out. And clean it man does it bring back good memory's of the fish tank I had. Can't wait to get it up and running agian. Thinking of stocking with Corry cats and ghost shrimp for bottom dwellers and guppies neon's and a few other tetra kinds. And maybe a dwarf gourimi never had one but they look so pretty. And will be setting a natural looking tank with a mix of real and fake plants.

Welcome to TFF!

Leave out the fake plants and use sand as substrate! ;)

If the tank was handled correctly and the seals look good, there should be no need to reseal the edges.
