Hi everyone
It's been a while since I frequented this forum, so just thought I'd put a little note in here to say hello! I've been keeping fish on and off for 18 years or so now. In the past I have had goldfish, Bettas (who I bought from a lovely lady on here called Netty), angelfish, zebra danios, Cherry barbs, Bristlenose plecs (managed to breed these also!), bolivian rams, silver tip tetras, cardinal tetras, various shrimp, apple snails, assassin snails etc etc
We moved house in December last year, I spent a few months before then shutting down my tanks and the last one was my Trigon 350 community tank, which I sold
... We're all settled in now, but still have lots of decorating to do, so I will wait to get a new big tank. I have treated myself today to a Fluval Spec 19L which I have just set up in my kitchen. Planning to plant it and find a nice Betta to move into it, and ease myself back into the hobby slowly... although I keep walking round the house eyeing up surfaces where I could put a fish tank or 2... oops!!
If anyone lives near me (I'm in Stowmarket) and could let me have a piece of their filter sponge to get my bacteria colony going I would be very grateful! Let me know
