1 do fry all look the same when there born i have mollie sword tails and guppys and not sure which they are though at the min they look like guppys

2 do swordtails have there long tails when born or do they grow them as they get older my male doesnt have a sword adn the shop assistant said they were quit young and even gave me a discount on them

No, they don't. Not especially anyway...I mean, they are all small, cute, and sometimes fat, but other then that, not really. Mollies tend to be chunkier and fatter, Swordies tend to be semi-colorful and fattish when born, and Guppies are very tiny and thin. You'll be able to tell the difference after a few batches of each.

Yes, they develop the swords with age.
