OK... this is really weird

A week ago I brought home a couple of mickey mouse platys. They seem pretty happy, but tonight I noticed the strangest thing. The characteristic "mickey mouse spot" on the male seems to be... fading away???!!!
Is that even possible? Are my eyes deceiving me or is it something else?
In the morning when I fed them I didn't notice anything different, but now the spot is not so dark.
Any ideas anyone?

Fish sometimes lose color when stressed out. Since she has been moved, it might be like that. Try keeping water conditions up and treating any disease or disorder that might pop up.
