Hi all, my unit arrived from ebay, yay! I'm using the Spiro-glass with it to ensure maximum CO2 diffusion.
I've just set it up using the mix pinned to this forum, but with a little less of each item, to hopefully prevent any risk of overflow.
But I do have a few (probably obvious) questions.
!. is it OK to leave the unit generating CO2 at night?
I have an air pump, on low in the tank mainly for water movement, but also because I wasnt going to rely on plants, until the CO2 unit arrived.
Its not doing anything 'yet' (only beenset up 10 mins
2. Ive positioned it near where the bubbles of the air pump stir up the water, because the out flow o fthe filter in my system is very gentle, is this OK?
3. What is the real likelihood of overflow? and is it a case of - wake up in the morning dead fish. Or partial water change, no damage done.
4. I've left some slack on the tubing, to hopefully take up any possible overflow as much as is reasonable, I know I can use an overflow bottle, but that can come later.
THanks all!
