Like I said yesterday, these were purchased from a lfs as a pair. I'm starting to believe they're both girls. And I really wanted to try to breed them.....

Here's a pic of my new tank. Sorry about the flash. Taking pics of fish and tanks is proving to be more difficult than I thought.

From those images its impossible to tell if they are male or female. try getting a decent piccy

Not really, the males have a longer dorsal fin and it's more sharp at the end. The males also don't get that pink part on their belly so my guess is females.

And you can see the dorsal spines clearly in that picture? No offense to original poster, the tank picture was fairly decent though.

about the flash m8 , don't take a picture straight at the tank, angle it slightly and you wont get as much reflection from the flash
