Hi everyone! I have had fishs for awhile but just now decided to join a forum, so here i am. B)

I was wondering why my tank water keeps turing a yellowish color even after i do water changes. My fish seem fine and none have died, i've done test and everything checks out its just yellowish. Any suggestions?

Hi!

Do you have driftwood or some other decor that may be coloring the water? If you have driftwood, it's normal for the tannins in it to bleed out for a while.

yeah it's normal. Tannic acid is released by your driftwood. It's perfectly normal and your fish actually like it. If it really bothers you you can remove the driftwood or take it out and treat it. I'm not sure exactly how to treat it but I believe it involves soaking it in water for like 3 months changing the water weekly. Not sure though. welcome to the forums.
