Today I had a fancy guppy meeting. Had to get up earlier than usual for I went by train and we’ve got new departure times.
Not all persons who were supposed to come over were present. I brought along a fair number of bags with fancy guppies to the meeting.
I donated some for the auction and the rest was sold by me. And I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t would come back home with new purchases. I also paid a visit to a fellow guppy breeder who I know for a number of years. And got myself 5 yellow pingus from his place. Regular pingus have recently been named “bumblebee guppy” by the commercial trade. But that strain exists already for many years and are officially known as “pingu”. This is an abbreviation of “pink guppy”. And we work with the original name “pingu” and won’t follow the name the commercial trade came up with. But now I’ve got the yellow version which also cost a lot more than the regular pingu.
But at the meeting I also purchased the albino full red cobra guppies from a fellow German guppy breeder who I also know for many years. And some fresh blood for my green lowersword guppies. And some anubias.
These are the new assets.
