hard to describe. its had it for a while now, tried treating it with no effect though.

fish isnt bothered by it , healthy otherwise eating fine etc etc..

any ideas??

Does it look like blister.
It can be to much aeraton, bacterial, parasites.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

Hi rockn

do you have a pic of the fish and what is the water quality like?
it could be excess mucous that is catching fine air bubbles, or the fish has a calcium deposit in the tail, or something like Lymphocystis.

hey colin

i did think of probs lymphocytis.

ill try and get a pic tomoz, probs have to take it out of tank quickly to get pic. as is small and skittish lol

can't you just photograph the fish in the tank, then crop the image so it isn't too big?
it would be less stressful to the fish if you could take the pic while it is in the current tank.
