Man, im so bumbed right now, and thought id put this in here...

Ok, so i planted out my tank today with a HUGE bunch of vallis (see pics coming soon) and whilst i was doing it, my male gourami was mega spooked and dove head first into the lip of my glass. Oh man, im so sad.

He has a small portion of his upper head missing. Its like hes scraped of all his scales. Should i add a bacterial, i have one, just didnt add it yet.

Will his 'bald' spot grow back? man, im so upset...

How far has the cut gone into the skin try melafix first if it's not a deep cut, poor thing.

My male Pearl Guarami had an injury in the top of his head a while back and I did a few extra water changes and within a week the mark was gone.

Stress coat will help him heal.

Thanks guys! I added some treatment today. It hasnt got infected yet. Im doin some small water changes to keep water quality up so it doesnt. Thanks one again.

The scratch has gone below the scales, to a pink fleeshy lookin layer, but it has seemed to heal over over the past day. Ill keep an eye out.
