Two days ago I had to put ick treatment in my tank because, my new fish unfortunately brought the sickness to my tank  . Yesterday I noticed that my lovely betta Sea King  , on his chin area is all white and ( I don't really know what all the different fins are called) his two front fins, closest to his eyes, one of them he's not using. It's like it's stuck to him. Is he on his way out :byebye:? What should I do?

i know this may be too much to ask of you in your state of crisis, but is it possible for you to post up pics of sea king and his condition?

good luck on treating him....never give up......

i am sure help is on its way here......

:good:

Does it resemble spots or a fungal/wool like growth?

Yes, it looks like wool.

If there are any off colour spots on your fish then its probably columnaris (bacterial)
If not then its most likely cotton wool disease (fungal)...
Either way find a treatment containing phonyoxyethanol, alot of King British treatments contain this.
