Oh No One Of My Bettas Has Dropsy

Im sure she was ok yesterday but tonight I found her with dropsy

Ive isolated her, im pretty sure we might just euthanise her to stop her suffering, but I would like to know if I should treat the other girls incase it was something they might be suffering from too but not showing these signs yet?

The dropsied female i doubt will recover, but the others I would do lots of water changes over the next week or so with emphasis on cleaning the gravel well. Add some bacteria meds to kill off anything in the tank that might be lurking and hope none of the others come down with it.

Yeah I will see how she is tomo. Do you recommend anything particular for the anti bacterial?

Its too late to use octozin on her from waterlife but you could use it on the tank to try and stop whatever it is from invading the other fish.
Interpet have an anti internal bacteria and the other waterlife product is myxazin.

I ordered the interpret one lastnight so hopefully the remaining girls will be ok
