I just can't decide how to place the wood and plants in my tank.

I keep getting it one way, think it looks good and then later think it looks cramped. Or then it looks messy. Or then it looks too empty...

I get completely obsessed and waste most of my weekends trying to figure out how to arrange my tank. I just can't help myself.

The only bit that I don't get tempted to change is the center arrangement...

Anyone else have this problem?

Perfectionist

I'm the same. I sometimes go sycho because it's not perfect. Right now my tank is either good, cramped, not enough plants, or something. I can't decide!

Well, tomorrow am off to the LFS early in the morning, get some established plants (not the cuttings and crap I get from internet orders) take most stuff out of tank and try and get it right...

Well, I actually don't have real plants. I meant just moving around everything.

Where are you? I actually find that my internet plant provider ships excellent plants.

But I definitely hear your pain regarding tank arrangements. I'm never satisfied with mine either. Good luck!

:)

I have the same problem mate. I've got three pieces of bogwood in an empty tank right now on constant rotation, I still haven't found the idea combination and to be honest I don't think I ever will! However at least you can say you're thinking about things a bit more than shoving a bit of bogwood in there, building a stonehenge-esq structure from pink rocks and maybe adding a bubbling treasure chest and roman ruins.....
