having no water really, truly, screws everything up. without water, my Boyz had to move into the Barracks in the 50, and the stress brought down a wave of fungus on Crumple. two days ago, i moved him into his cup and onto the stove so he could be warm and be cured by the fungicide, it worked. today, it came back. in waves. fungus is curling from every possible place, and still he's marching on.
i'm afraid to move him, he wouldn't want to die in a green-water cup. so he was moved from his compartment of the Barracks (where Rinkee is now rooming) and into the open breeding trap.
if he pulls this, he gets the 50. all to his fishie self. if Crumple goes, i lose my only tie with Pierce (Crumple was Pierce's brother, Pierce was my favourite, oldest, most spunky and beautiful combtail Betta ever.)
