I've got a problem


One of my buddies just gave up on fish keeping and gave me 4 tiger barbs. I know thats great But all of my other tanks are full and if I add more the tanks will be overstocked (My signature needs to be updated there more fish now). The only tank I have open is my 20g so I had to put them in there. So theres 4 tiger barbs and 4 Black Skirt tetras in there thats the way its going to stay, no more fish. I have no where to put the barbs and if I said no to the offer there fate would have been worse


Did I just do a stupid mistake? I know the barbs need much more room for them to swim but this is the best I can do for now. They seem happy and swimming together and not bothering the black skirt tetras.

What should I Do? just keep them in there and see how it works out? Or what?

are your black skirt tetras grown to their fullest?

No there not full grown. There maybe an inch, inch and a half long, I think there MAX sixe is 2 or 3 inches when they reach adult hood.

I am not going to add anymore fish though. As of right now am I overstocked? All the fish are an 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches long?
